Data, not guesswork.
Cyber threat activity figures from KZ-CERT and the State Technical Service. The institute does not replace the incident response operator — we analyse the data and turn it into research findings and standard requirements.

How the institute works with STS
The roles are separate: the technical service responds, the institute researches and formalises.
- 01
The State Technical Service records incidents
The KZ-CERT response team receives reports, contains incidents and keeps the primary records.
- 02
The institute analyses the data set
We break down the structure of threats, look for patterns and build models: which vectors are growing, which are fading and what comes next.
- 03
Findings feed into standards and training
The result becomes requirements in the standards of TC-34, cyber range scenarios and case studies in the knowledge base.
What these figures mean
Quarterly figures are confirmed. A month-by-month breakdown requires a data export from the State Technical Service and will be added once received. We do not publish reconstructions as if they were facts: estimated figures are marked as such.
