Privacy policy.

This document explains what personal data the institute’s website collects, on what legal basis, how long it is kept and what rights the data subject has under the Digital Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

1. Who processes the data

The operator is the Digital Government Support Center, MAIDD of Kazakhstan, BIN 990340006003, address: 55/5 Mangilik El ave., Yesil district, Astana 010000. The Cybersecurity Development Center is part of it.

2. What data is collected

Only what you enter into the site’s forms yourself: full name, organisation, email address, phone number, subject and text of the enquiry. Technical request data and a timestamp of the consent given are also recorded — this is required by personal data legislation.

The site does not use third-party advertising or analytics trackers.

3. On what legal basis

Processing is based on your consent, given by ticking the box in the form. Consent is mandatory for submission: without it the form is rejected both in the browser and on the server.

4. For what purpose

Solely to handle your enquiry and reply to it: assessment requests, participation in working groups, article submissions, job applications, comments on draft standards, website error reports.

5. How long the data is kept

Data is kept for as long as needed to handle the enquiry and confirm that a reply was sent, after which it is deleted or anonymised. Retention periods for certain categories of documents may be set by archival legislation.

6. Who the data is shared with

Data is not shared with third parties except where expressly required by law. No cross-border transfer takes place.

7. Your rights

Under the Digital Code you have the right to find out what data about you is processed, to have it corrected, and to request its deletion, anonymisation or restriction of processing — the so-called right to digital oblivion (Article 41). The right does not apply where processing is required by a court decision, to perform a contract, for archival storage, in the public interest or when providing government services.

If a decision about you was made automatically, you have the right to learn its logic and to demand human review (Article 43).

Send your request via the enquiry form.
